EUCHARISTIC
APOSTLES OF DIVINE MERCY
Support the spiritual formation of the laity and works of mercy.
EADM nurtures
genuine belief in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist. The
apostolate promotes Eucharistic Adoration, together with the hourly praying
of the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the sick and dying. EADM local groups also
provide other works of mercy to their local communities.
In order
to become a member of the EADM, the faithful are called to be active members
of Divine Mercy Cenacles. After completing 50 lessons of study, praying
and reflection on the message of Divine Mercy, those who wish to enter more
fully into the work of mercy are called forth to renew their Baptismal promises,
and further promise to work to proclaim God’s mercy, particularly through
the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
This coming
April 5, 2008, more than two dozen participants in Brooklyn and Queens Divine
Mercy Cenacles will make their commitment before Vicar General Bishop Frank
Caggiano and Apostolate Director Fr. John Maduri.
